Good Working Order With Key. This is a very good brass and glass Bornand Freres 11 Jewel French Carriage Clock, from Montbeliard in France, circa.1890, with a very simple white ceramic face marked in roman numerals and normal seconds. The case is brass, quite plain and clean and unmarked, with handle, and with bevel edged glass panels so that the inner workings are in full view, while the rear panel is hinged so the time can be set and the clock wound. The clock comes with carry case, which has seen better days. The case is burgundy, wooden structure, with what looks like snakeskin covering, that is pulling away in places. As far as I can tell, the clock is in full working order, with no marks or blemishes and is overall excellent, and with original box quite a scarce find.
